JOB SUMMARY / DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a versatile and motivated Production Assistant to join our small, collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands\-on experience across many areas of production—from concept development and brainstorming to set prep and post\-production hand\-off.Because of the small team environment, you’ll have the chance to wear many hats and contribute meaningfully to the creative process, including research / ideation, prop cataloging, and on\-set logistics. You’ll work closely with the producer and director and be a key part of keeping everything running smoothly. The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, organized, and excited to learn and grow in a fast\-paced, creative setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:
\- Assistance with location scouting, brainstorming, Ideation, research \& casting
\- Loading / unloading of set pieces, props and equipment\- Managing an inventory of props (can include distribution after the shoot)
\- Perform administrative office work, excellent at taking notes\- Help prepare the set with lights, props, equipment etc.
\- Assist producer and director\- Help distribute on set documents as needed (e.g. scripts, call sheets, etc.)
\- Assist with researching and sourcing materials\- Using personal automobile for runs and various tasks
\- Act as a runner distributing messages or shopping for items and returns
\- Undertake all errands as assigned\-Take food orders and pick up meals
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:
\- Can lift 50lbs or more
\- Great with communication
\- Knowledge of Physical production required, and previous experience preferred
\- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, be a self\-starter, anticipate the needs of the producer and director
\- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
\- Ability to work in a fast\-paced, deadline driven environment and be self sufficient
\- Ability to work independently and take initiative along with attention to detail
\- Strong work ethic, reliable, mature, professional and positive attitude required
\- An attitude that no job is too big or too small
\*There is potential for additional Per Diem work past the dates listed and also full time position.
Pay: From $20\.00 per hour
