**Production Coordinator** (Apparel \- Sweaters/Cut \& Sew Knits/Woven)
LA based fashion company is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
\- Monitor overseas production, mainly in China
\- Create, update, and manage vendor purchase orders in AIMS360 from issuance to receipt of goods
\- Check customer purchase orders (EDI and non\-EDI) against order recaps and provide callouts as necessary
\- Compare vendor purchase orders against customer purchase orders, and send updates to the factory
\- Provide packing instructions to the factory according to the customer’s requirements
\- Manage, order, and ship customers’ price tickets, barcode stickers, and special hangtag as needed.
\- Maintain and correct production spreadsheet to ensure merchandise and necessary info, such as tickets/barcode stickers, are delivered on time.
\- Create and maintain picture packets for open\-to\-sell merchandise in excel format
\- Manage Belldini UPC codes through 3rd party and provide info and UPC stickers to appropriate parties
\- Prepare and upload shipping documents for direct shipment customers in conjunction with Logistics Department
\- Communicate with Logistics Department, Design Team, and Tech Team on delivery status updates as needed
\- Work closely with Design Team and Tech Team to discuss and resolve delivery delays
\- Ensure vendor compliance for each customer is followed correctly and all required testing is complete timely
\- Communicate daily with HK office and overseas factories to work out production problems and manage factory relationships
\- Monitor vendor performance and keep track of all complaints and charge\-backs from customers
\- Manage and resolve charge\-back issues in conjunction with Design Team, Logistics Department, Customer Service, and vendor
\- Review all bulk submits received against development submits and present findings
\- Communicate with vendors on bulk fabric, yarn, trim quality approvals, rejections, and troubleshooting
\- Maintain accurate reporting of all outstanding issues.
\- Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure fabrics/trims are approved for production and chase into pending lab dips/strike offs/knit downs to ensure on time production delivery
\- Track and manage production schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
\- Collaborates with vendors to receive and review standard WIP reports weekly to ensure production schedule is on time
\- Coordinate daily operations and communicate updates with production teams and vendors
Qualifications include:
\- Must be available to work full\-time on location in Los Angeles office (no remote work)
\- Minimum 3\-5 years of related experience in overseas apparel production, sweaters preferred
\- Strong understanding of the product development cycle
\- Bachelor's degree is required
\- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), AIMS360 experience is a plus
\- Experience in vendor compliance guides and private label customers is a plus
\- Familiar with EDI processes
\- Excellent communication and problem\-solving skills
\- Ability to identify risks and resolve challenges in a timely manner
\- Good decision making and organization skills to ensure timelines are met
\- Detail oriented with strong follow\-through and sense of urgency
\- Ability to multi\-task and shift priorities when needed
\- Analytical mindset for tracking progress and performance
\- Ability to drop off approval swatches/samples to customers in LA area regularly
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: $65,000\.00 \- $75,000\.00 per year
