Video Editor Rock Productions \| Orange County, CA Rock Productions is looking for a fast, highly skilled Video Editor to join our growing media team. We create high\-volume content for personal brands, entrepreneurs, podcasts, live events, social media, and digital campaigns. We need someone who can move quickly without sacrificing quality, manage multiple projects at once, take detailed feedback, and consistently deliver polished content on deadline. This is a strong fit for someone who is advanced in editing and understands what makes short\-form content engaging, clean, and professional. Responsibilities * Edit high\-volume short\-form and long\-form video content * Create Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, podcast clips, promotional videos, speaker reels, and brand content * Turn long\-form footage into strong, engaging short\-form clips * Identify hooks, key moments, and natural cut points * Edit content for pacing, retention, storytelling, and engagement * Clean and balance audio, dialogue, music, and background noise * Add captions, text overlays, transitions, branding, and closing frames * Maintain consistency across multiple client brands * Follow detailed creative direction and revision notes * Review content for quality control before delivery * Catch duplicate footage, missing clips, incorrect branding, audio issues, and formatting problems * Organize footage, project files, exports, and client assets * Manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time * Communicate immediately if assets are missing or a deadline is at risk * Complete revisions quickly and accurately What We’re Looking For * Advanced video editing skills * Speed is extremely important * Ability to produce a high volume of content while maintaining strong quality * Strong understanding of short\-form social media content * Excellent sense of pacing, hooks, storytelling, and viewer retention * Strong understanding of audio editing and sound balance * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to follow brand guidelines and detailed client feedback * Highly organized and deadline\-driven * Strong communication skills * Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects * Comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment with multiple clients and priorities Preferred Editing Experience * Adobe Premiere Pro * Final Cut Pro * CapCut * Adobe After Effects * Adobe Audition Bonus Skills * Motion graphics or graphic design * Adobe After Effects * Creating branded graphics and animated text * Filming professional content * Camera, lighting, and audio experience * Podcast production * Event content * Speaker reels and personal\-brand content The Right Person We need someone who is fast, skilled, dependable, and detail\-oriented.
