Content Producer / Videographer \& Creative Assistant

About the Role
I’m looking for a creative, reliable, and motivated **Content Producer / Videographer \& Creative Assistant** to work alongside me on comedy content for TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms.
This role is more than just holding a camera. I’m looking for someone who can become a **second set of eyes and a creative partner** — someone who can help bring ideas to life, contribute their own ideas, and make sure our videos are as funny and entertaining as possible.
What You'll Do
**Filming \& Production**
* Film comedy skits using professional cameras and/or phones
* Help set up shots, lighting, audio, and basic production
* Help plan and organize shoots
* Assist with making sure we get all the shots we need
* Help find and coordinate filming locations when needed
**Creative \& Script Development**
* Brainstorm new comedy and dating\-related skit ideas
* Help develop concepts, punchlines, and endings
* Read through scripts and give honest feedback on whether jokes actually land
* Help improve scripts before filming
* Bring your own ideas and creative perspective to the content
* Keep an eye on current trends and find ways to put our own spin on them
**Casting \& People**
* Help find people to appear in videos
* Reach out to potential actors/creators when needed
* Help coordinate people for shoots
* Occasionally appear in videos if you're comfortable doing so
**General Content Assistance**
* Help with small tasks needed to make videos happen
* Pick up props or other items needed for shoots
* Help organize content ideas and upcoming shoots
* Be proactive and look for ways to make the production process easier
* Basically, be another set of eyes, ears, and hands throughout the creative process
What I'm Looking For
You don't need to be an expert at everything. **Personality, creativity, reliability, and having good comedic instincts are more important to me than having the most expensive camera.**
The ideal person:
* Has a strong sense of humor
* Understands TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short\-form comedy
* Has experience filming and/or editing content
* Can give honest creative feedback
* Is comfortable coming up with ideas
* Is organized and dependable
* Is proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do
* Is comfortable working in a fast\-paced creative environment
* Lives in or around Los Angeles
* Has a flexible schedule for occasional shoots
* Has a portfolio, reel, or examples of content they've worked on
Who This Is Good For
