828 Marketing Solutions is a strategy\-first marketing agency in Irvine creating premium, bilingual content for business owners in landscaping, construction, restaurants, and the trades. We're hiring a full\-time Content Creator \& Video Editor to produce the short\-form videos, podcast content, and cover photos that make the right customer stop scrolling and think "that's me."
You won't be building websites or landing pages. Your focus is video and visual content: telling a story in 20 seconds, with a strong eye, real range, and a feel for what makes people care.
**What you'll do**
* Edit short\-form vertical video for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts story\-driven, not slideshows
* Edit podcast episodes and cut them down into short recaps, clips, and highlight reels
* Design scroll\-stopping cover photos and thumbnails
* Create before/after and transformation edits that sell the outcome
* Keep a consistent brand feel across multiple clients without making everything look the same
* Bring fresh visual approaches several looks for one idea, not the same template every time
**What we're looking for**
* 2\+ years editing short\-form video and/or designing social content
* A portfolio that shows variety and results not just polish
* A real eye for composition, typography, and pacing
* Someone who thinks about the story and the emotion before opening the editor
* Self\-directed solves problems and moves fast instead of waiting for a perfect brief
**Requirements**
* Proficient in video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut)
* Proficient in Photoshop and Figma (Canva a plus for speed)
* Understanding of what makes social video perform
* Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred our audience lives in Spanish
* Must be able to work in person at our Irvine office
**Bonus points**
* Filming / on\-camera production experience (camera, lighting, audio) is a plus
* Motion graphics, sound design, or direct\-response experience
* Content experience in home services, trades, or restaurants

**How we hire**
Portfolio review → paid test project → working session → final interview. For the paid test, we'll give you one raw clip and one sentence of context, and you'll deliver a cover photo and a short cut.
