Production Coordinator / Construction Project Coordinator – Home Improvement
**C\&M Home Revival \| Long Beach, CA**
**Full\-Time \| $25–$30/hour, depending on experience**
**Monday–Friday \| In Office**
Help Us Keep Great Projects Moving.
C\&M Home Revival is a growing home improvement company looking for an **experienced Production Coordinator / Construction Project Coordinator** to join our team in Long Beach.
This is a key position within our production operation. You'll be responsible for helping move projects from **contract to completion**, working directly with homeowners, project managers, installers, subcontractors, vendors, and our internal team.
We're looking for someone who already understands the pace and moving parts of residential construction and can step in, take ownership, and make things happen.
**Must Have:**
**Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required.**
You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, organizing information, tracking multiple projects, and keeping details accurate.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll help keep multiple projects moving at the same time — making sure the right people, materials, paperwork, appointments, and information are all in place.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinate residential home improvement projects from **contract through completion**
* Schedule pre\-site meetings, installations, inspections, deliveries, and subcontractor work
* Coordinate schedules between homeowners, project managers, installers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
* Order and track project materials and identify potential shortages or delays
* Confirm projects are properly prepared before crews arrive
* Track permits, inspections, approvals, contracts, change orders, and completion documents
* Maintain accurate project information, notes, schedules, and updates in the CRM
* Communicate project schedules and updates with homeowners
* Follow up with subcontractors, installers, vendors, and internal team members
* Identify scheduling conflicts and production issues before they become larger problems
* Help resolve issues and keep projects moving when things don't go according to plan
* Coordinate punch\-list items, corrections, inspections, and final completion
* Help ensure final documentation and payments are collected
* Assist with warranty and service coordination when needed
* Maintain organized project files and documentation
* Track outstanding items until they are completed
* Keep management informed of project status, delays, and issues
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with **real construction or home improvement experience**.
You don't have to have the exact title of "Production Coordinator." If you've worked in construction operations, project coordination, scheduling, roofing, remodeling, general contracting, windows \& doors, solar, HVAC, restoration, or a similar industry, your experience may translate very well into this position.
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in residential construction or home improvement
* Highly organized and detail\-oriented
* Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
* Strong with scheduling and follow\-up
* Comfortable using **Excel or Google Sheets**
* Comfortable learning and using CRM/project management software
* Professional and confident communicating with homeowners
* Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, installers, vendors, and internal teams
* Proactive when problems arise
* Able to prioritize competing deadlines
* Able to work independently and take ownership
* Reliable and consistent with follow\-through
* Comfortable working in a fast\-moving environment
**Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.**
This Isn't a "Sit at a Desk and Wait" Position
Construction has a lot of moving pieces.
A project gets sold.
Then the real work begins.
**Materials need to be ordered.**
**Permits need to be tracked.**
**Customers need to be contacted.**
**Installers need to be scheduled.**
**Subcontractors need to show up.**
**Inspections need to happen.**
**Problems need to be solved.**
And when something doesn't go according to plan, someone needs to recognize it, communicate it, and get it back on track.
**That's where you come in.**
We're looking for someone who naturally thinks:
What needs to happen next? Who is responsible? What are we waiting on? And what can I do to move this forward?
You shouldn't have to be reminded to follow up.
You shouldn't be comfortable letting something sit unresolved.
And you shouldn't wait for a customer to call before realizing there's a problem.
We want someone who **takes ownership and follows things through.**
What Success Looks Like
At the end of the day, your job is simple:
**Keep projects organized. Keep people informed. Keep jobs moving.**
A successful Production Coordinator knows the status of their projects, knows what needs to happen next, and knows what is holding a project up.
If a material hasn't arrived — you know about it.
If an installer hasn't confirmed — you follow up.
If an inspection needs to be scheduled — you get it moving.
If a homeowner needs an update — they hear from us before they have to ask.
If something goes wrong — you help find the solution.
**You become the person the team can rely on to keep things moving.**
