We are seeking a **Director Intern** based in **Los Angeles** to work **in person** alongside an established and highly respected director in the film industry. This internship offers hands\-on exposure to the real\-world directing and filmmaking process, from development and pre\-production through on\-set support.
This role is ideal for someone serious about pursuing a career in directing or film production and looking for direct mentorship and professional industry experience.
**Responsibilities**
* Assist the Director with daily creative and production tasks
* Support pre\-production activities including script coverage, shot lists, and research
* Help coordinate schedules, meetings, and creative materials
* Participate in creative brainstorming and development sessions
* Assist on set during shoots and in production meetings
* Organize treatments, visual references, and project files
* Provide general administrative and production support as needed
**Qualifications**
* Strong interest in film directing, production, or storytelling
* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a film, media, or related program (preferred but not required)
* Basic understanding of filmmaking and production workflows
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast\-paced, professional creative environment
* Reliable, proactive, and detail\-oriented
* Must be **Los Angeles–based** and available for **in\-person work**
* Familiarity with industry tools (Google Workspace, Final Draft, etc.) is a plus
