I’m looking for a talented videographer/editor in or near Irvine, CA to help film and edit high\-quality founder\-led YouTube content.
This is not a corporate video role.
I’m looking for someone creative, fast, artistic, and deeply familiar with YouTube — someone who understands hooks, pacing, storytelling, thumbnails, retention, and how to make educational content actually feel interesting to watch.
You should be strong at both shooting and editing.
The right person has great taste, understands modern YouTube, and can help turn ideas into sharp, simple, visually strong videos.
What You’ll Help With
Filming in person in Irvine
Editing long\-form YouTube videos
Creating short\-form clips from longer videos
Improving pacing, hooks, and storytelling
Helping with titles, thumbnails, and packaging
Creating simple visual frameworks, graphics, or on\-screen explanations
Helping build a consistent content system
Who This Is For
This is for someone who loves YouTube, filmmaking, editing, and creative direction.
You do not need decades of experience or a huge agency background.
But you do need strong taste, speed, hunger, and the ability to create videos that feel clean, valuable, and visually compelling.
Requirements
Must live in or near Irvine, CA
Must be able to film in person
Must be strong at editing
Must understand YouTube content
Must have a good eye for lighting, framing, pacing, and storytelling
Must be able to move fast and take creative ownership
Bonus Points
Experience filming creators, founders, or educational content
Strong thumbnail instincts
Strong short\-form editing ability
Ability to create clean graphics or visual explanations
Interest in a long\-term creative partnership
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed based on skill level, availability, and fit.
This can be structured as paid work, performance upside, or a longer\-term creative partnership for the right person.
